Steve Norman has been promoted to the position of Home & Garden Chief Operating Officer at Stauffers of Kissel Hill. In addition to his new role as Home & Garden COO, Steve will continue as the Director of Merchandising for the Home & Garden line of the business.
Steve Norman started with Stauffers in 1991. In 2014, Steve joined the Board of Directors and became a stockholder in 2015. Steve graduated from Lebanon Valley College & lives in Lititz, Pa.
Steve replaces Jere Stauffer, who retired at the end of January after 49 years of service. Jere Stauffer was a third generation owner and grandson of the founder, Roy Stauffer Senior.
Jere grew up among the family business at Stauffers of Kissel Hill and worked there for two years after high school, before pursuing pastoral studies at Philadelphia College of Bible. He returned in 1975 and worked in various roles for 14 years. He joined the ownership team and board of directors in 1989 and was chosen as director of the company's training division in 1995. His retirement is effective as of January, 2017.
