McCammon’s Irish Market purchases Frazee’s Garden Center

According to a press release, McCammon’s Irish Market purchased Frazee’s Garden Center property in Brownsburg, Indiana and took possession on Friday, Feb. 21. McCammon’s currently had one location in Greenwood, that sits on almost 3 acres of land. They specialize in plants, shrubs, perennials, trees and have their own landscaping division. With the addition of the new property, they will now have 8 acres of land in Brownsburg to supply the public with all their landscaping needs.

Mary Jane and Garry Ward, the owners of McCammon’s Irish Market, stated, “We have been discussing expanding McCammon’s Irish Market for a few years and this felt like the perfect opportunity. We look forward to opening a second location and becoming part of the Brownsburg Community.”

Garry says that he looks forward to meeting the current staff from Frazee’s and is excited to bring some of his own long-time employees in to help smooth the transition.

Garry has plans to bring the Irish Hospitality to Brownsburg and promises that customers will be pleasantly surprised at the changes he will be making. They will offer authentic gifts from Ireland, including blankets, clothing and Celtic Jewelry. There are immediate plans for a larger selection of plants and trees to meet everyone’s landscaping and planting ideas. McCammon’s will also offer free delivery on all products within 25 miles and will be open seven days a week.

Garry plans to have the garden center’s Winter Wonderland completed and ready for the public by Nov. 1 of this year. He is also working on organizing a farmer’s market that will be located on the property as well as other community events.
