Rochester, N.Y. – Harris Seeds/Garden Trends Inc., a provider of quality vegetable and flower seeds, plants and horticultural supplies to both professional growers and home garden customers throughout the United States, announced that Kristen Andersen has been named Vegetable Product Manager and Trials Manager. Kristen started with Harris Seeds in the spring of 2017, and was promoted to Assistant Vegetable Product Manager in September. Since then she has excelled in managing the company’s vegetable seed product line, a vital component of the company’s grower and home garden business. Andersen graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Plant Science, and received a Master of Science degree in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Biotechnology-Horticulture from Michigan State University.
