You may already market your spring and fall annuals around popular sports teams in your city to entice fans to celebrate their pride with plants. Sporticulture has taken that a step further. The division of Fabrique Innovations secured a licensing agreement with the NFL and has developed a franchise program for growers to sell containers, tags and more with official team logos. The goal is to help retailers sell plants to sports fans year round. The company won the Fresh Ideas Award at Cultivate’15, which recognizes the year’s best new product.
