Woodstock Equestrian Spirit Chime

Tuned to the notes of the "First Call," heard at the start of horse races. Humans began domesticating horses around 4000 BC. Today we interact with horses in a number of ways: riding them for entertainment, using them as therapy animals, as farm workers, and, of course, racing them for sport. "And they're off" the familiar bugle call that signals the start of a horse race serves as the scale to which this wind chime is musically-tuned. The rearing horse silhouette is cut from a single piece of stainless steel that has been treated with a flamed finish, producing wonderful burnished, coppery colors.
