The new Preen Battery-Powered Spreader will be rolled out nationally to consumers in spring 2012. Many who have tried and tested the new applicator cap – the first of its kind for a granular product – are calling it a game changer.
The new applicator cap features an inner fan powered by two AAA batteries, which come installed. The consumer simply flips open the top, switches on the fan and points the cap toward the ground. Gravity feeds the Preen granules into the fan, which distributes them easily and evenly. Adjusting the angle of the bottle changes the flow rate of the application.
