Cistus ‘McGuire’s Gold’ is the first all gold leaf cistus hybridus. The evergreen has a low-mounding habit and is perfect for creating contrast or can be used as an accent in a sun garden. The average size is 30 inches wide and 18 inches high, with 18-inch high flowers that bloom in May and June. It performs well in Zones 7-10 and prefers dry, sunny growing conditions. ‘McGuire’s Gold’ is deer-resistant and drought-tolerant.
