Tesselaar Plants introduces dark-foliaged hydrangeas

Tesselaar Plants’ new Tuxedo Hydrangeas offer up a variety of qualities, with flowers that are big, bold and cover most of the plant. It also features deep purple-black flushed leaves. Even when it’s not in bloom, Tuxedo hydrangeas add color and interest to any garden bed, container or landscape.    

Flowers appear in early spring on mounded, compact plants, growing to just under 3 feet high and wide. It is currently available in red and pink, with additional colors to follow, and is hardy in USDA Zone 6.
