The Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Endowment Fund Board of Directors has approved the Scholarship Award Levels for 2023 again be $2,000 each and be awarded to up to 12 students, who are residents of any of the Southeast 16 states, providing for a total awards up to $24,000 this year. This will be the second year in a row to be $2,000 awards.
Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Endowment Fund and the Horticultural Research Institute (HRI), two leading scholarship granting foundations in the green industry, announced their collaboration in creating a common application form for their respective scholarship programs. This partnership will make it easier for students to apply for multiple scholarship programs at once and mitigate the time-consuming application process. You can read the full announcement HERE.
For the Sidney B. Meadows scholarship, students who are currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate ornamental horticulture program or related discipline at a four-year college-level institution in the USA and a resident of any of the sixteen southeastern states may be eligible for this scholarship. The 2023 Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Applications will be accepted through June 1, 2023. Last year, the organization awarded 12 scholarships $2,000 each. This year a similar level is anticipated. They encourage students to review their eligibility requirements.
