Seed Your Future is launching a documentary series to showcase 10 different plant professionals to highlight the diverse range of opportunities amid the growing demand for skilled professionals in the horticulture industry.
Seed Your Future said the series will inspire, educate and shed light on the world of horticulture careers in the realm of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The series is made possible through an investment from Corteva Agriscience.
The first video features Matteo Cuminotti, lead technologist at Corteva, who talks about his career and personal story, his work with plant propagation and his personal passion that led him to working within horticulture.
Cuminotti answers questions including why he loves working in the green industry and why it's special to him, why students should consider a career working in the green industry and the kind and level of education required to work in the field.
