Proven Winners just introduced a new way to help growers capitalize on container sales. The company recently published its Container Design Guide for Professional Growers, which offers many new container combinations that will help meet this coming season’s demand at retail.
After researching what gardeners are looking for when shopping for their porch or patio, Proven Winners produced this 52-page handbook that shows 160+ plant combinations in addition to a planting schematic and plant list for each. Some combinations are organized by a featured color, while others incorporate the latest varieties in the Proven Winners line of annuals. Other growing tips and variety information is also included.
"We know growers would like Proven Winners to be a resource to help them determine which plants can successfully be grown together, and this is based upon growing requirements such as the rate of growth, habit and cultural requirements of each type of plant in the combinations” said John Gaydos, director of product development and promotion for Proven Winners. “Having this new guide in hand will help growers take the guesswork out of creating new combinations for spring.”
The Container Design Guide for Professional Growers is available two ways—by download from the Proven Winners website, or as a flip book, also on the website. To see this idea book, visit www.provenwinners.com/growerideabook, or contact your preferred propagator for a printed copy.
