PlantTAGG
Dallas-based horticulture technology company PlantTAGG has created a Website Widget for garden centers to add to their websites, allowing site visitors to research and choose plants that work for their exact location, microclimates and purpose.
The PlantTAGG Website Widget uses the same patented technology as the company's mobile app. The widget also includes AI-driven plant health analysis, diagnosis and remediation to 80 potential plant problems. The expert response is specific to the selected plant, precise location, planting conditions and time of year.
The widget includes comprehensive plant suggestions and care recommendations, including:
- A rich plant search and "suggest a plant" capabilities to help customers intuitively discover plants that align with their preferences and specific gardening conditions. Garden centers can tailor the widget to showcase their in-store plants, the entire PlantTAGG library or both to best represent their brand and offerings.
- PlantTAGG's proprietary Thrive Scorecard technology to predict the growing success of every plant based on geography, microclimate and the needs of each plant.
- Creative companion plant suggestions to give customers customized ideas for companion plants that will thrive alongside their existing plant selections.
- Master Gardener-crafted plant information to extend expertly curated plant information to their customers, enhancing their confidence in selecting and caring for their plants.
The widget also includes AI-driven expertise, including:
- "Ask an Expert," which allows customers to upload photos, answer basic question and receive a detailed analysis and remedy.
- Live plant Q&A to offer quick, expert advice on plant health issues via an innovative prompt experience to plant-related queries.
Ruibal's Plants of Texas (#33 on Garden Center magazine's 2023 Top 100 Independent Garden Centers List) recently implemented the PlantTAGG Website Widget. See it live at ruibals.com/plant-search.
