From the Erie Times-News: Claudia Urda has a really long Christmas-card list.
She's planning to send 1,100 cards.
And that's just to strangers.
Urda, owner of Plantscape Greenhouses in Fairview Township, Pa., hopes to send Christmas cards to that many servicepeople overseas.
She's asking the public to bring in a card -- or letter or drawing -- so that she can get them into the mail to Afghanistan, Iraq, South Korea and other destinations before Thanksgiving, in time for delivery to troops before Christmas.
Her Hometown Holiday Hello campaign began Sept. 11 and continues until Nov. 11.
