Plantpeddler is hosting its annual Poinsettia Variety Day for 2024 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 5 in Cresco, Iowa.
Poinsettias from all major breeders will be represented in the trial, including Beekenkamp, Dümmen Orange, Lazzeri, Rinehart Poinsettias, Selecta One, Suntory Flowers, InBlume Indoor Floral (Express Seed Company) and Graff Breeding. Breeder representatives will be present.
This trial is grown with minimal enhancement of growth regulators to show the natural vigor and habit of more than 200 commercial and pre-release varieties.
This is a free event, and lunch is provided. All horticulture professionals in production, distribution, wholesale and retail are invited.
