NORTON, Mass. – Plantation Products, LLC, which manages seed and seed starting brands such as Jiffy, McKenzie, Livingston Seed and NK Lawn & Garden, recently announced that it has acquired SUPERthrive for an undisclosed amount.
SUPERthrive, which was founded in 1938, has thousands of testimonials from home gardeners and professional growers, who have used SUPERthrive for years. The company’s founder, Dr. John Thomson, has received awards for his work and invented the original vitamin solution SUPERthrive to produce healthier plants. The company remains headquartered in North Hollywood, Calif.
“SUPERthrive is an amazing product, and I am very excited to partner with the entire team to take the company to the next level,” said Michael Pietrasiewicz, president and CEO of Plantation Products. “SUPERthrive has passed the test of time, and our job is to get the product into more people’s hands, so they can experience the benefits of SUPERthrive themselves.”
“Gardening can be incredibly rewarding and we are constantly looking for ways to do it better,” Pietrasiewicz added. “At Plantation Products, we take a great deal of pride in bringing products to gardeners that allow them to be more successful. SUPERthrive is a perfect example of how a great product can help achieve those goals. We are very excited about the future.”
