A work of art

Like a fine work of art, customers will be mesmerized by the new Dahlia Painter Collection available through PlantHaven. These marvelous flowers are sure to command a high price point at retail. The collection’s market names will be announced soon by PlantHaven.

Large double blooms measure 4 inches in diameter and are held upright well above the foliage. Currently, there are four stunning colors in the collection:
• Warm yellow splashed and painted with red
• Rich jewel-purple splashed and painted with plum-black highlights
• Hot purple-pink buds that open to bicolor flowers of pure white highlighted with hot purple-pink
• Warm pink with a warm yellow center splashed and painted with darker pink
The plants in the Painter Collection are hardy to USDA Hardiness Zone 9. Plants flower from June through October, providing sales opportunities during multiple seasons. Plants are compact and do not require staking. Flowers are complemented by vivid green cut foliage.

The Painter Collection comes from the world-renowned French rose breeder, Georges Delbard. The collection will be available to the retail market in 2016. Unrooted cuttings from Innovaplant de Costa Rica will be available around Week 50 of this year.
