Green Acres Nursery & Supply has expanded into new territory, opening its first Texas store in Irving. The California-based garden center has seven other locations in the state — Auburn, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and Sacramento.
The store sits on 3 acres with 120,000 square feet of indoor space and a 6,300-square-foot greenhouse, according to Texas CRE. The company is hosting a Grand Opening Event March 25 with live music, raffles and more, according to its Facebook page.
Green Acres got its start in 2003 and has grown to offer everything from bulbs to perennials to trees, veggies, sod, houseplants and more.
