The Gardener's Hollow Leg, the handy "hands-free" debris bag, is now available through Excel Garden Products and Canadian distributor Great North Outdoor Living Products, a Division of Snapedge Canada Ltd.
Owner and creator Bob Blomberg will be showing the bag at several fall buyers shows, including The Excel Show in Las Vegas (Booth #926), The Farwest Show in Portland (Booth #2089) and the L&L Show in Reno.
Blomberg will also be on hand at the Independent Garden Center Show (IGC) in Chicago to provide product demos and offer insights into the bag's unique design. Visit him at Booth #200 to hear about the numerous ways the Gardener's Hollow Leg can save time in the garden.
The Gardener's Hollow Leg makes a thoughtful gift for any garden enthusiast and retailers will want to have it available for holiday shoppers who are looking for the perfect gift for gardeners.
With the Gardener’s Hollow Leg, there is no need to drag around a bulky bucket or other debris holder. This water-proof fabric sack features a patent-pending, ring opening at the top; it is made of 100-percent post-consumer recycled polyester. It comes with an adjustable belt attached that expands from 30 to 52 inches. The 23-inch deep bag is compact and comfortable to wear. With a clipper holster slipped onto the belt, the gardener’s hands are always free to engage in other tasks.
The bag features a 10-inch diameter opening and can hold more than 5 gallons. It’s a great time saver, eliminating the extra step of picking up piles of clippings or weeds. It is excellent for fruit or vegetable harvesting because weight is ergonomically located on hips and legs, not on the neck, shoulders or back and both hands are available to hold onto the ladder. Buyers have found many other uses such as mushroom or oyster hunting and clamming, to name a few. It's great for cleaning gutters, too.
The Gardener’s Hollow Leg has a suggested retail price of $29.95.
