Eric Joy has assumed the role of president of Christensen’s Plant & Hardscape Centers in Plymouth, Michigan, as Tim Joy enjoys a reduction of workload after 50 years at the helm of the wholesale landscape supplier.
Christensen’s began as a nursery more than 90 years ago and progressed through two generations of the Christensen family before transferring to employees Tim Joy and Frank Huber in the early 1980s.
Currently, Christensen’s is a wholesaler of nursery plant material, hardscape supplies, landscape lighting and water feature materials for landscaping professionals. Throughout its history, Christensen’s has gone from a nursery to a garden center to its current status as a complete landscape supplier.
“With innovation and a focus on our customers, we will continue to make Christensen’s a premiere landscape supplier in the Midwest,” Eric Joy said. “With so many companies' succession in question, I am pleased to be able to put our customers’ and staff’s mind at ease for the future of our business. I love what I do and look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.”
