Pop Star Hydrangea, the newest introduction into the Endless Summer collection, is going on tour to celebrate its official retail launch for Spring 2023. The Pop Star Concert Series will travel coast-to-coast with musically themed events at multiple independent garden center partners.
Pop Star Hydrangea sets the new standard of reblooming hydrangeas with incredible bud hardiness, speed to rebloom and volume of flowers produced, compact size and vibrant electric blue or bright pink blooms. It’s a showstopper in the landscape or decorative containers that adds color and texture all season long.
Marketing & Communications Manager Ryan McEnaney expresses enthusiasm about introducing Pop Star to home gardeners through these exciting retail events: "Pop Star adds vibrancy and energy to any landscape, making it the perfect choice for these fun-filled celebrations. We are grateful to our partners across the United States for joining in our excitement and making the Concert Series a reality."
While each event will be tailored to the specific retailer, all Pop Star Concert Series events will feature a musical atmosphere, Endless Summer Pop Star merchandise and informative sessions on how to achieve success with Pop Star in both landscapes and decorative pots.
McEnaney further explains the benefits of organizing an event around a single new variety: "This approach not only gives us a chance to showcase the impressive new genetics of Pop Star, but also provides an opportunity to educate our retail partners and their staff about its unique qualities. We've created trade-focused training videos that not only highlight the key features of Pop Star, but also provide talking points to facilitate the selling process."
