IGC Show Chicago attendees will also enjoy three free keynotes each morning - including Mike Ditka, Pro Football Hall of Fame player & Super Bowl-winning coach - before the trade show opens.
IGC Show Chicago will once again be hosted at historic Navy Pier in Chicago.
New to both the EIGC - The Eastern Show for IGCs and IGC Show Chicago, attendees will have the opportunity to get a taste of the IGC Retailer Conference during Tuesday morning’s sessions - free and open to all. Judy Sharpton and Steve Bailey will get the conversation started in a new interactive conference format. Attendees are encouraged to bring their toughest challenges for solutions they can take back to their store, and jump in with their ideas that could help the IGC retailer sitting next to them. They’ll also enjoy free coffee and donuts. Preregistration is not required to attend Tuesday’s free sessions.
Those registering for the full retail education program at the IGC Retailer Conference will take back ideas for their store from five all-new tracks exploring the latest in selling to Millennials, visual merchandising, store spruce-ups, garden center finances and floral. Matt Britton, an expert on selling to Millennials, will headline the conference this summer. Britton, whose global digital marketing agency, MRY, specializes in younger generations, has consulted more than half the Fortune 500 on Millennial marketing strategies, including Procter & Gamble, Visa, CocaCola, Nike and Microsoft. Britton’s track, titled after his best-selling book, opens with the session, "Who Are These Creatures We Call 'Millennials' & What Do They Want from Us?" Britton will detail what Millennials look for in their shopping experiences and how garden centers can deliver that to win their business long-term.
Through March 17-23, attendees can take advantage of a St. Patrick's Day special to register for the retailer conference for $130 - a 70% discount off regular rates - by entering promo code STPATTY.
