Kansas City, MO –– DCA Outdoor, a family of companies that connect the agricultural, nursery stock production, landscape distribution, agritourism and transportation industries, has announced that it has acquired the nursery supply division of Columbia Burlap & Bag Company. Since its launch in 1950, Columbia Burlap & Bag Company has become highly-regarded in the green industry for its outstanding product line and customer service. Under the terms of the acquisition, the nursery supply division has been rebranded to PlantRight Supply, and will continue Columbia’s commitment to servicing the needs of nursery professionals.
“Columbia Burlap & Bag has a long-standing reputation for excellence and quality, both of which influenced our decision to bring their nursery supply division into the DCA Outdoor family of companies,” said Tory Schwope, founder and president of DCA Outdoor. “We are honored to continue Columbia’s unrivaled level of service, as well as expand capabilities and deliver first-rate solutions for nursery and green industry professionals alike.”
Through the newly branded PlantRight Supply company, DCA Outdoor furthers its commitment to aligning efficiencies across their existing and growing network of customers, and moves one step closer toward its long long-term vision of cohesion in the green industry. By providing a range of services and solutions for professionals in the landscape industry who utilize nursery supplies, DCA Outdoor continues its innovative approach to optimizing the green industry.
“DCA Outdoor is leading the green industry in an exciting direction, one marked by innovation, integration and cohesion,” said Marc Radasky, president, Columbia Burlap & Bag Company. “We are excited that Tory and his talented team at DCA Outdoor share our passion for providing solutions and services to nursery and green industry professionals, and trust that they will take PlantRight Supply in a direction of continued growth.”
