Corso’s Flower & Garden Center in Sandusky, Ohio, celebrated its grand re-opening Friday evening. The center provided entertainment, food and fun for customers as they had an opportunity to take in the changes.
One change is the new greenhouses, which were manufactured by Cincinnati-based Rough Brothers, and installed by L.L. Klink & Sons Inc., based in Columbia Station, Ohio. The structures are gutter-connected, double-hoop, Gothic-style poly arch houses. Two are 30 by 168 feet, and three are 36 by 132 feet, totaling 24, 336 square feet. They also feature a 16-foot gutter height, roof vents, a shade curtain system, gas-fired unit heaters, HAF fans and Wadsworth environmental control system.
Corso’s posted on its Facebook page, “Our brand new greenhouses showcase thousands of poinsettias, lush tropical foliage and vivid blooming plants. Decorating and great gift ideas throughout the Garden Center and Flower Shop will inspire you!”
