On Nov. 27, Cornelius Nursery opened its third Houston-area store at 6720 HWY 90A Sugar Land, Texas. Their new location is currently filled with fresh cut Christmas trees, beautiful wreaths and garlands, along with seasonal flowers and poinsettias, just in time for the holidays.
At Cornelius Nursery, customers will find plants chosen for their durable performance in Texas gardens, garden goods, garden advice and a helpful staff.
Cornelius Nursery is owned and operated by Fort Worth-based Calloway’s Nursery, which decided to open a store in Sugar Land because it is one of the most rapid growing cities in the greater Houston area.
“We always look to open new stores in growing communities that are experiencing exponential growth, like Sugar Land, so we can be a knowledgeable gardening resource to local families,” said Calloway’s Nursery CEO Marce Ward. “Our team works hard to make gardening fun, easy and successful for customers by offering the best plants and products for sale, as well as provide expert knowledge from the numerous Texas Certified Nursery Professionals in our stores.”
The Sugar Land store will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony in February of 2020; locals and members of the media are invited. More details regarding the grand opening will be announced soon.
