Landscape design company Bower & Branch has announced a strategic partnership with MTM Trucking and Logistics for tree and plant delivery.
Through Bower & Branch, customers can purchase and receive delivery of trees up to 20 feet tall directly from independent growers, which requires a delivery partner with the understanding of the logistics involved in transporting large, live plants.
MTM Trucking is a woman-owned business based in Aberdeen, Maryland, founded and operated by Judy Santiago and her daughter Taylor Santiago. MTM specializes in custom, multi-stop routing as well as pickup and delivery of mail and other dry goods, utilizing its fleet of 53-foot dry vans and straight trucks.
“As we continue to expand our service sector, partnering with MTM Trucking aligns perfectly with our goals,” said Bower & Branch CEO Don Eaton. “Their expertise in logistics, coupled with their dedication to exceptional service, will be instrumental in supporting the seamless delivery of our premium trees and plants.”
Prior to formalizing the partnership, MTM and Bower & Branch conducted a successful pilot program last year.
“Our approach is based on the belief that every shipment is unique and requires a tailored solution,” said MTM Vice President Taylor Santiago. “We’re proud to use our expertise to be apart of Bower & Branch’s mission to deliver high-quality trees and landscaping solutions."
“We are thrilled with this partnership, which caps a seamless end-to-end process of plant growth, delivery and exceptional service,” said MTM President Judy Santiago.
The relationship with MTM comes on the heels of Bower & Branch's acquisition of Tilly Design.
“The integration of Tilly Design into the Bower & Branch family represents a significant leap forward in our mission to offer complete, high-quality landscaping solutions," said Alexis Sutton, president of Bower & Branch and former CEO of Tilly. "Partnering with MTM Trucking further strengthens our ability to deliver on this promise, ensuring our products arrive in pristine condition and supporting our continued growth and innovation.”
