Bell Nursery is ramping up for spring in a big way. The company is looking to fill more than 900 seasonal positions—primarily garden center merchandisers to display and care for the more than 75 million plants that will go through the registers at Bell-served Home Depot garden centers. Bell will also be hiring additional greenhouse and loading dock staff, as well drivers to fill two full time shifts at several locations.
"As a company, 70 percent of our sales are during spring season, which means we are pushing a lot of product into the stores,” said Gary Mangum, Bell Nursery CEO. “It is a physically demanding team effort, but it’s a fun and rewarding experience and many associates return year after year.”
Bell provides plant material, as well as on-site merchandising teams to present and care for the plants at the more than 200 Bell-served Home Depot stores.
Bell is accepting applications for positions in more than 200 Home Depot stores from Philadelphia through Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, northern North Carolina, parts of West Virginia and the southern Ohio Valley. For more information on job positions and hiring, go to www.bellimpact.com.
