Bailey Nurseries has made two additions to its executive leadership team.
Tim Jacobson has been appointed as chief human resources officer, and Katie Huth will serve as chief financial officer. Both will play pivotal roles in steering the strategic direction of the company and driving its continued growth.
“I’ve been incredibly impressed with Tim and Katie,” said Bailey CEO Terri McEnaney. “Their extensive experience and alignment with our vision of Growing What’s Next make them invaluable additions to our leadership team. Their external perspectives will bring fresh insights as we continue to honor our commitment to our customers, partners and employees.”
Jacobson most recently served as vice president of people and culture at a leading nonprofit organization.
“I am thrilled to join Bailey Nurseries at such an exciting time in the company’s journey,” Jacobson said. “I’m in awe of the dedicated and talented individuals here and look forward to further enhancing Bailey’s incredible culture, developing our people and refining systems and processes to ensure a safe and rewarding work environment.”
Huth joins Bailey as fourth-generation leader John Bailey transitions into a strategic leadership role as secretary-treasurer, focusing on legacy and long-term planning. Huth's previous role was in financial leadership at a large multinational ag-tech and horticultural breeding company.
“It has been my pleasure and humbling experience to join the Bailey organization,” Huth said. “The energy and dedication of the team members are truly inspiring, and I’m excited to be part of this growth journey. The culture of mutual learning at Bailey is remarkable, and I’m eager to contribute to the impactful outcomes we deliver to our customers.”
Both Jacobson and Huth will be based at Bailey’s headquarters in Minnesota.
