Garden Center magazine's Top 100 Independent Garden Centers List is based on retail revenue as reported by garden centers in the U.S. and Canada. (Retail revenue is solely garden center and retail online sales. This does not include landscaping, tree care, wholesale, etc.)
The submission window for the 2025 Top 100 Independent Garden Centers List is now open! Click here to submit your IGC for consideration on the list. The deadline for submissions is April 25, 2025.
We're changing the way we compile the Top 100 list this year. We're now asking IGCs to submit the retail revenue at their single largest or flagship location, as opposed to retail revenue for their entire business, including all locations.
This change is meant to more fairly represent and compare IGCs of all sizes, including those with a single location, across the U.S. and Canada.
