Michael Balsam

Michael Balsam is a government-contracting expert and was a key contributor to the online tracking of stimulus spending by the Seattle-based company Onvia at recovery.org. Onvia follows this spending all the way from the U.S. Treasury to Main Street, where the jobs are created. Balsam also helped to author transparency components of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and has shared his insights with dozens of media outlets since passage of the act, including ABC News, CNN, Federal News Radio, the New York Times, and numerous financial and business trade publications.
