Established in the 1990s, Western Imports is a full-service importer and distributor of fine furnishings for the home and garden. We have grown to become one of the largest suppliers of imported ornamental iron in the country, and we take pride in our high standards for quality and style. In addition to wrought iron, we also carry cast iron, clayfibre pottery, copper table tops and Mexican pottery.
Over the years, we have forged close relationships with talented artisans. Together, we have created the most attractive collection of products in the ornamental iron industry. Western Imports distinguishes itself from the competition with unique designs, hand-forged details, heavier gauge iron and a specially developed clear-coat.
Our five-acre outdoor warehouse is always well-stocked, allowing us to deliver complete orders in a timely manner. In addition to our Minnesota warehouse and showroom, we have a permanent showroom at the Dallas Market Center.
Whether by pallet or by full container order, we welcome your business. Here’s what some of our customers have to say:
“We are a small, single location garden center and are always looking for quality items that aren’t found at the box stores. We have found that at Western Imports. We love their furniture, planters and yard art. Our customers love them too!” — Sue Timmerman, garden center manager, Lewis Greenscape, Inc. Grand Island, Neb.
“Western Imports’ wire and iron garden ware has made a positive impact on both our bottom line and the ambiance of our arboretum-like garden center. We use baker’s racks throughout our store to display our gifts, plants, and pottery, etc., helping our customers visualize and imagine their usefulness. Wire baskets hold seasonal items nestled among companion products outside in all kinds of weather. The beautiful gazebos are the centerpieces for many of our hanging baskets and groupings of seasonal blooming and decorative items. The iron urns are seasonally used for either assorted winter greens and branches, or bursting with color when an annual planter is set inside. The service, quality, care, and pricing makes Western Imports a favorite vendor.” — Sue Hustings, Pres. Highland Nursery, St. Paul, Minn.
“We love working with Western Imports. Their product mix is straightforward, their customer service is responsive and polite, and they are always able to deliver product in a reasonable amount of time. One of our favorite vendors.” — Jessie Jacobson, Managing Director. Tonkadale Greenhouse, Minnetonka, Minn.
