Your Turn
Each month, we’ll ask readers a different question about your retail operations, inviting you to answer via email or social media. You can send your answers to assistant editor Conner Howard at choward@gie.net. Questions will be published here and answers will be shared on another page.
This month's question:
“Is your IGC adding a new product category this year? If so, what and why?”
Answers to this question will be published in the March 2017 issue of Garden Center.

What's trending on Instagram
While visiting TPIE in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., opportunities for memorable photos were everywhere — from the breathtaking booths on the show floor and gatherings of industry figures to the hundreds of innovative new plants and products entering the market. One product display in particular caught our eye, as well as the eyes of our Instagram followers. Delray Plants Co., based in Venus, Fla., built this display using signage based on the company’s research into why people buy plants. The display reminds garden center retailers of the good that they do each day by helping to bring greenery, life and wellness into people’s homes.
