Evanthia
Evanthia is showcasing the Cyperus Felix, a very decorative, eye-catching houseplant and also a healthy candy plant for your pets. The Felix improves the supply of vitamins and is great for your cat’s digestive system.
Helianthus annuus dwarf Sunsation is a large-flowered, pollen-free F1 hybrid with a black center, multiple flower buds in the top and dark green glossy foliage. The compact pot plants are grown in 4.72-5.12”(12-13-c) pots and are available in four variants. Because of its compact habit, Sunsation needs only little growth regulators, which benefits the environment. Moreover, the cultivation time is only 10-11 weeks, which is much shorter than other series. Depending on the culture, the height of the plants is 14”-18” (35–45 centimeters). The plants have good keeping qualities and show an excellent garden performance.
Available in the colors Blue, Pink and White, the Platycodon Corsa series has a compact, uniform plant habit that produces masses of star-shaped blooms from attractive “balloon” buds.
Royal Van Zanten
Colorita ‘Katiana’ has bold variegated leaves in combination with large red flowers that will attract consumers instantly. Colorita ‘Mulan’ has beautiful purple and lilac colored flowers. Both varieties will surely bring some color to your garden!
Royal Van Zanten launches the Garden Jewels this year. These Alstroemerias produce colorful flowers up to 45” high from spring until late autumn. Consumers can enjoy them in their garden or in flower arrangements indoors.
Celosia Brainwave ‘Purple’ offers large-sized plants with stunning velvety purple flowers. Finished plants will definitely give your house or garden the “wow” factor that you are looking for. Growers: This is a true day-neutral celosia variety!
Suntory Flowers
Suntory Flowers introduces a rich Dark Pink to its Grandaisy intergeneric hybrid argyranthemum series. Full vigorous plants produce large flowers with striking dark centers. Much showier than a standard argy and perfect for premium patio pots.
Solving a key production problem, Suntory has introduced a mite-resistant mandevilla! Sun Parasol Mitebuster Red has a compact, upright bush habit, bursting with bright red blooms. Color holds up to the heat and sturdy plants don’t break at the base. Resistant to leaf spot, too!
New White color provides contrast in the popular Senetti pericallis assortment. Flowers have white petals with striking dark blue/gray eyes. Thrives in cool conditions and matches classic Senetti group. Won best new introduction at IPM Show in 2018.
Suntory has brought more star power to petunias with Surfinia Purple Starshine! Bright purple flowers have a white star pattern. Habit is more mounded than classic Surfinia. In 2019, Suntory will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Surfinia petunias, which started Suntory Flowers.
Vivero International
Pelargonium Flower Fairy Red Splash is a PAC breeding offering that adds to the successful series of the bicolor zonal series Flower Fairy. Flower Fairy stays out with light red edges in the petals that get darker in the center. The white center brings an additional color to the flower. Red Splash has a vigorous, bright color foliage with almost no zoning.
Pelargonium TWOinONE White is an interspecific variety being added to the PAC series. Branching from the lower base, this variety is very good for groundcover. In the landscape it will cover open ground quickly and its zonal-like flower will shine out of the dark-green foliage underneath.
Poinsettia Reinhard Series Jack Frost is a new variety with pure white bracts. This variety grows shorter than the established white varieties and is perfect for 4” and 6” pots. Its vertical stem development allows very good handling for sieving and transport. The flower bracts are significantly whiter than regular white varieties.
