Soiree Double catharanthus from Suntory Flowers
Grows to width/height
10 to 14 inches high, 20 to 25 inches wide

Key features
Soiree Double catharanthus varieties are more elegant than the common bedding plant vinca. Plants produce double flowers in white and pink atop glossy green foliage. Superb for landscapes, patio pots and hanging baskets, Soiree varieties retain their compact habit and tidy appearance. Excellent branching produces more flowers and fills out pots. These sun lovers thrive in the heat and can be grown in the Deep South and part of summer programs.

Consumer care requirements
Plant in full sun. Low maintenance. Water with well-balanced fertilizer when soil becomes dry.
Container suggestions
Consider filling in a large urn with Soiree Double around a trellised Sun Parasol mandevilla or sun-loving flowering vine to provide more height. While Soiree provides a mounding filler, choose other heat-loving annuals as trailing spillers.

Annual zones 3-11
Retail/merchandising display suggestions
Sell patio-ready baskets, window boxes and urns along with 4-inch and 6-inch pots for consumers to plant their own containers and beds. Consider having a Soiree summer party featuring the entire Soiree collection of catharanthus, which includes Double, Crown and Ka-wa-i-i varieties.
