New Varieties:
Supertunia Vista Valentine Petunia is a true, bright pink petunia that joins the popular line of sun-loving Supertunia Vistas from Proven Winners. These plants are very vigorous with mounding habits that can reach up to 2 feet in height in the landscape and will trail over the edges of baskets and containers up to 4 feet by the end of the season. They are fantastic landscape plants and are great in large containers, where they function as both fillers and spillers.
The cool, silvery lavender blooms of Superbells Blue Moon Punch Calibrachoa have a dark eye and are early to flower in week 9. Abundant flowers will cover this plant and promise to impress as they cascade out of baskets, patio containers and window baskets. This new addition takes the colorful series of full sun Superbells Punch varieties from Proven Winners to seven color options.
Winecraft Black Cotinus is the first Proven Winners smokebush. In spring, round leaves emerge rich purple but as summer's heat comes on, they turn a deep near-black tone and finally light up in an array of reds and oranges in fall. Unlike other smokebush, it naturally has a rounded, dwarf habit, which means that finally, every landscape has room for this unique plant. It grows 4 to 6 feet, USDA Zones 4 to 8.
Invincibelle Wee White Hydrangea arborescens is positively groundbreaking: it's the first dwarf ‘Annabelle’ type hydrangea in the world! This cute little landscape plant ensures that any landscape can enjoy the reliability, low maintenance, and season-long beauty of hydrangeas. It reaches just 1 to 2.5 feet tall and naturally grows as a tidy, rounded mound. Each pure-white flower is held up on a strong, supportive stem for a display that looks more like a bouquet of flowers than a landscape plant.
Last year, Proven Winners introduced the PRIMO Series of Heuchera, which are larger, more vigorous garden performers. This year, Heuchera PRIMO ‘Wild Rose’ joins the popular ‘Black Pearl’ and ‘Pretty Pistachio’ with eye-catching, bright rosy purple leaves.
A new genus to the Proven Winners Perennials lineup, the Penstemon ‘Midnight Masquerade’ is an improvement on other Penstemon digitalis types. It boasts a fuller, more refined habit, more vibrant flower color, and a more consistent, floriferous flowering performance.
