The GreenBird House
The GreenBird House is made from a three-layer laminate of recycled paper. The bonding agent is water resistant. This combination allows the house to last through the nesting season, and then it is biodegradable. Some houses last into a second season! The kit contains two die-cut sections of the house, the 100-percent cotton hanging strap and instructions for simple assembly. The house can be assembled in a matter of minutes. It can be used white, just as it is, assembled inside out for a brown house or painted. Wrens, Titmice and Nuthatches are the birds that the house is designed to shelter. We have had reports of Chickadees moving in, too.
GreenBird Bulk Bird Houses
Our mission is to help educate people, young and old, about wild birds and what we can do to protect and provide for them. With that in mind, we offer the GreenBird House in bulk. That means the same kit, but no packaging - although because it contains good information, we include one with every dozen bulk birdhouses. Bulk houses are delivered stacked loose in a shipping box.
GreenBird Real Milk Paint
All natural and non-toxic. People have used milk paint for centuries, but it is as green as it gets for today’s Earth-conscious caretakers.
- Made from curdled milk and natural colorants
- Eight colors in each kit: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, brown, black and white
- Contains enough paint to cover several birdhouses as long as they aren’t all painted red!
- Starts as a powdered paint that mixes in water
- Quick-drying
Nesting Material Box
Attract songbirds to your yard by providing food, water and housing. And while you are at it, you may as well give them 100-percent Alpaca fleece to line their nests with! It is so soft and luxurious, what bird could resist? The GreenBird Nesting Material Box comes in an easy-to-make kit.
