Delphinium ‘Black Eyed Angels’ (Left)

Delphinium ‘Black Eyed Angels’ is a stunning white-flowered variety with a small, dark “bee” in the center of each flower. The frilly double flowers stand on 3-to-4-foot tall stalks during the summer, and the plant is surprisingly heat resistant. Delphinium ‘Black Eyed Angels’ is a butterfly and hummingbird magnet.

Bred by Thompson & Morgan, the Hollyhock ‘Halo Blush’ series blooms large white flowers that feature yellow centers and fuchsia-colored halos. With a rapid growth rate, expect it to reach 5 to 6 feet in height and 18 to 24 inches in spread. This hollyhock forms a bushy clump of foliage with tall spikes and blooms in early to mid-summer. ‘Halo Blush’ is hardy to Zones 3 to 8 and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.

This radiant plant sets lemony yellow blooms by the dozen all over compact plants just 15 to 18 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide.
