Plant with winter/spring perennials. Suggestions: Ophiopogon nigrescens ‘Black Dragon,’ Hedera helix ‘Needlepoint’ or Hedera helix variegata, and spring bulbs such as Narcissus ‘Tete e Tete’ or Snowdrops.

Bring the flowers inside and plant in high-end wicker baskets or a water-proof saucer for a country chic look, or metallic glazed pots for a modern look.
