Laptops, tablets, smartphones: your website should play well with all of these devices, because a recent study of 2,004 U.S. adults who go online shows that consumers are using all of them.
- More than 60 percent use at least two devices every day.
- Nearly 25 percent use three devices.
- More than 40 percent start a task on one device and finish on another.

VOCUS, a public relations and marketing software company, recently shared a compilation of 50 statistics about mobile searches. A handful of those numbers indicated that consumers are increasingly using mobile searches at home and in stores to shop, and businesses have to adapt.
