Photos can really make or break your social media reach. Experts say including some visual aspect, whether it’s an infographic, a chart or just a standard photo, will help a post go viral and increase interaction with other users. As other avenues like Instagram and Pinterest are rapidly gaining popularity too, it might be time to break out the digital camera in your garden center.
Adding a photo to a post is the best way to get attention on Facebook, hands down. Posts with photos are shared, commented on and liked more than posts with just text, questions or even video. You can even link Instagram to Facebook to make it easier to share photos. Following the trend, Facebook just unveiled a new capability for users to upload photos into the comments. So snap and share, and your followers will do the same!
