1. Original and Authentic Buoy Wind Bells
North Country Wind Bells
The classic triangular wind chime echoes the “Haunting Sounds and Magic Memories” of buoy bells and gongs directly off shore on the ocean harbors, mighty rivers and great lakes! Made of recycled steel and powder-coated to endure the elements, these wind bells resist twist or tangling and are rugged. Each wind bell has a wind catcher hanging at the bottom that a retailer can choose to be a theme of nautical, wilderness, birds, dogs, cats or special interest. These are included in the price. Made in Maine since 1975. Price points start at $14 to $47.
2. Drain Smart Discs
Drain Smart
Drain Smart discs are an alternative to gravel, bark and packing peanuts. Drain Smart’s proprietary technology encourages healthier and stronger plants by eliminating long-term soil saturation that causes root rot. Drain Smart drainage discs come in 6-inch or 12-inch sizes. They’re composed of thick, nylon mesh with a layer of geo-filter fabric designed to retail soil and allow water to pass through the mesh, into free space and out of the planter drain hole. As the soil is prevented from migrating downward, the soil establishes a structure that continues to facilitate drainage hence promoting healthier, longer-lasting plants. Drain Smart discs, made in the USA, also eliminate staining and mess on patios and decks by preventing soil migrating through container holes.
3. Surreal Planters
Surreal Planters
Surreal Planters are molded in high-density polyurethane and hand painted to match the appearance of natural birch or white oak logs. The closed-cell polyurethane is completely water tight and insulates plant roots from damaging heat in summer and from cold in cooler months. At 4.5 pounds for a 23-inch planter, they are light enough to be easily moved and can even be brought indoors as a leak-free container for house plants. And they are tough enough to withstand freezing and rough handling. UV-stabilized paint resists fading and, in tests, has shown less than three percent fading over five years. Surreal Planters are made in the USA and are safe for growing vegetables.
