Allisonville Nursery in Fishers, Ind., submitted this display as part of our Spring Display Photo Contest on Facebook. Murphy Hendy, merchandiser and floral designer, says he used the grapevine orbs to create a “curvy, whimsical, dancey design over the pottery,” and wanted it to feel interactive. “The blue/green, aqua/teal is one of my favorite color palettes because it’s such a sign of spring and water,” Hendy says. “We want to intrigue clients to think in different ways. We’ve seen those grapevine balls in containers, we’ve seen them as wreathes but what about [suspended from the ceiling]?”
