You already know that attending green industry trade shows is a crucial part of moving your business forward and surviving in tough times. But wouldn't it be great to achieve the same goals, while mixing work with pleasure? Imagine a revolutionary new event, one designed with you, garden center owners and plant lovers, in mind: an affordable trade fair in which you see new varieties of plants in their natural environment, relax with your family outside while listening to a wide variety of music and entertainment between educational sessions, and meet with vendors in a casual, outdoor setting. Imagine no more!

Garden Center readers, meet BloomaPalooza. GIE Media, C. Raker & Sons, and Hort Couture have partnered to develop this revolutionary and innovative outdoor event dedicated to serving and celebrating the spirit of the independent garden center market. “Independent business is the foundation of this industry,” says Susie Raker of C. Raker & Sons. “BloomaPalooza is a celebration of that business.” BloomaPalooza will be held at the Raker Trial Gardens in Litchfield, Michigan next August 1-3, 2013.

“GIE Media is proud to help bring BloomaPalooza to the marketplace,” says Chris Foster, president and CEO of GIE Media. “This exciting event marks a new and lucrative way for independent retailers and growers to form rock-solid relationships, as well as come together for some fun.”

“BloomaPalooza is such a unique concept,” says Jim Monroe of Hort Couture. “Envision an outdoor music festival with thought-provoking presentations sprinkled throughout, all in a gorgeous setting with the most beautiful new flowers and plants for our industry."

This 3-day trade fair will feature presentations from forward-thinking industry minds like Charlie Hall and Sid Raisch, and you can stroll through the Raker Trial Gardens to view more than 3,500 unique plant varieties in beautiful beds, and sample delicious locally sourced foods before meeting with IGC-focused vendors.

Have kids? Children 17 and under are free with a paying adult!

It’s time we as an industry took a different approach in order to achieve new levels of success. Join the revolution next August at BloomaPalooza!
