The poll position
It really doesn’t matter. Thanks to YouTube and sites of its ilk, everybody can be an Internet somebody – even you who don’t get racked by 3-year-olds wielding plastic baseball bats or you who don’t own dogs that lend harmony to a rendition of “Achy Breaky Heart.” Or you who do have a yen for the yard. Not long ago, I stumbled on a gardening video that ultimately led me to a gardening website that I believe sets the bar for such virtual endeavors. It’s called www.melindamy ers.com, and it is the veritable “all that” source of gardening information that leaves no doubt about Melinda Myers’ passion for gardening. It’s equal parts resource and inspiration for green thumbs needing to feed the brain and/or soul. It’s the kind of place you might want to frequent as someone who works in the industry – and definitely want to recommend to your favorite customers. Mark my words: They will think you’re both smart and thoughtful. Better, yet, record my words on a YouTube video. – Yale Youngblood, editor/publisher |
