February 8, 2016, Fort Worth, Texas — Calloway’s Nursery will open two new stores in Tarrant County in March. The locations will be in Mansfield at 311 East Debbie Lane and in north Fort Worth at 3936 North Tarrant Parkway.
The Mansfield store is slated to open in early March while the north Fort Worth store will open in late March. The stores’ grand openings will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony with special savings and giveaways.
Both stores, each designed to resemble a classic Texas farmhouse, will feature a rustic stone-covered exterior with a welcoming wraparound porch. The surrounding flowerbeds will be landscaped to provide seasonal gardening inspiration for shoppers.

The interior of each store will feature approximately 5,000 square feet of indoor retail space and a 15,000 square-foot greenhouse. There will also be a 35,000 square-foot outdoor area to provide optimal space to display Calloway’s plants and flowers for sale. Schwarz-Hanson Architects of Fort Worth designed the new stores.
Calloway’s President and Chief Operating Officer Marce Ward said the company decided to open in Mansfield and north Fort Worth because both areas have grown considerably in recent years.

“Calloway’s is pleased to open in these thriving communities and offer local homeowners new opportunities to create beautiful gardens,” said Ward. “We strive to make gardening fun and successful for everyone — from novices to experts — by offering expert advice from our Texas Certified Nursery Professionals and unmatched selections and quality.”
Calloway’s has more Texas Certified Nursery Professionals in its stores than any other nursery or garden center in Texas. The new store openings will bring about 40 jobs to the local economy, and the application process can be initiated online at calloways.com/employment.
Construction on Calloway's upcoming Mansfield location
2016 marks Calloway’s 30th year in business. The Mansfield and north Fort Worth stores will be the 17th and 18th Calloway’s locations in Dallas-Fort Worth, in addition to its sister store, Cornelius Nursery, located in Houston.
Both new stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily with extended hours throughout the spring.
Calloway's was ranked No. 2 on Garden Center magazine's Top 100 IGCs list in 2015. Read more about what set the business apart here.
